ReplyDeleteI second! (Well, make it "fourth" as I type this). As some one who has hopes (delusions?) of being able to do comic book covers, it is good to see a break down of some Do's and Don'ts. Make this Blog the "Goofus and Gallant" of comic covers... :-)
ReplyDeleteOh man, that would make my day. I've been hoping one day the factory lights would turn on and the chimney's would start magically smoking again. This was definitely one of my favorite weekly blogs around. And I hope you don't pull your punches too much. Your brutal honesty is what made this such a unique experience. Any professional worth their salt should be able to take criticism, or what the hell are they doing in a creative profession. How else will they ever know what to work on, and one day improve...
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely you should start this up again, & don't even consider going easy on your victims, er, I mean 'subjects'.. I can say this with confidence, since I very rarely do comic covers these days!! :-)
